The reason why we separate Competition and Recreational is that those who sign up for Competition must be placed in the same starting group at 10.00.

TanumStrand Spa & Resort, Grebbestad. Here you find the number bib distribution and competition center. Here is the goal.
PARKING
Free parking at Sportshopen, follow the signs and instructions from officials. The possibilities to park in Havstenssund are extremely limited (and ordinary parking rules apply here) - take the bus from TanumStrand!
BUSES TO THE START
You take the bus to the start, boarding at TanumStrand Spa & Resort. Your number bib is your ticket. The buses are for you who run the race. Please take the bus that applies to your start time. The bus will depart 50 minutes before your start.
The bus is your way to get to the start, there are no parking possibilities in Havstenssund.

The soccer field, Havstenssund. The race will be conducted in starting groups.

When registering, you choose a start group, if you want to change, you log into your profile in EQ Timing (link) and change it yourself. Please note that it is only possible to switch to a starting group with free places (max. 300 places per group).
You who want to compete for the top positions, honors and points in the Outnorth Trailtour, must start in the first starting group Competition.

NUMBER BIB DISTRIBUTION
Here you collect your number bib and ask any questions. The number bib distribution can be found at the finish area at TanumStrand Spa & Resort, Grebbestad. NOTE: The number tag can only be picked up here, not at the start in Havstenssund!

To pick up your number bib, you state your name and start number to the staff at the number bib distribution. You will receive an SMS with your start number at 10 am the day before the race.
NUMBER BIB
The number bib must be worn clearly visible on the chest or leg. Feel free to bring your own safety pins - reuse is good! There is a timing chip on your number plate, leave it there. NOTE: The number bib can only be picked up at TanumStrand, not at the start!
OUTNORTH TRAILTOUR
Bohusläns Bästa is the final competition in the Outnorth Trailtour, a competition series that premiered in 2019 and which aims to give those who invest in trail running an opportunity for quality competitions. For those who want to compete for points in the trail our, and for honorary prizes, the Competition start group applies.
TOILETS
Toilets are available at the arena, the start, and at the energy stations.
COVER CLOTHES
If you want to leave outerwear (e.g. a thin jacket and trousers) at the start in Havstenssund, you take a bag, write your start number on a sticky note that you attach to the bag, and then hand the bag in at the designated place at the start. The clothes are transported to TanumStrand and picked up at the finish arena. Please note that it is not possible to leave entire bags and that we are not responsible for any valuables.
BAG DROP
You can hand in your bag at the finish arena at a cost of SEK 30. However, we ask those of you who have the opportunity to store your bag in your car or in accommodation nearby, to take advantage of that opportunity in the first place.
NAME CHANGES
Name changes can be made at a fee of SEK 200. You make the change yourself in the notification system. Here is a guide on how to do it. October 8th is the last day for name changes.
CAN I BRING THE DOG WITH ME INTO THE RACE?
No, you can't. Partly of consideration for other runners who may be afraid of dogs, but also from an accessibility and safety aspect for all runners, since large parts of the course are on narrow paths. So the doggy can stay at home.
During the race
THE COURSE
The course is marked with orange flags, arrows and kilometer signs in the terrain. Some parts are narrow and tricky, take care! There will be more easy sections further on where you can stretch out and run again. NOTE: It is not allowed to run with shoes with metal studs, this is to protect our beautiful nature.
ENERGY STATIONS
Remember that it is important to continuously get fluids and energy early in the race! At our energy stations, you recharge with new energy so that you can continue to push forward. All have Enervit's sports drink and water. Bananas and buns are other good things you can fill up on. Drinks and snacks are also served at the finish.
Feel free to bring your own cup to use at the energy stations, then fewer paper cups are used, they are recyclable - but still.
A good idea is to bring your own liquid and energy, then you can drink continuously and when it suits you.
MAXIMUM TIME
At the energy stations, a rope is pulled at a specific time. This means that it is not possible to continue the race after that. This is for your safety. If you have passed the last rope, i.e. Everts Sjöbod, in the right time, you are free to continue towards the finish - it doesn't close until everyone is back home!

LITTERING
...along the course is of course completely prohibited and immediately leads to disqualification. There are garbage bags at the energy stations. Remember to sort the waste - the mugs are recyclable as paper packaging and are thrown away in bins marked "Mugs".
IF YOU'VE HAD ENOUGH
If you are forced to quit the race for any reason, immediately inform the organisers. This is important, so that a search effort is not started when you are actually sitting in the jacuzzi.
FIRST AID/MEDICAL CARE
First aid equipment is available at the energy stations. Medical care is available at the arena in TanumStrand. The emergency number on your number bib goes to the Competition Management. In case of serious accident or illness - always call 112 immediately!
After the race
SHOWER & CHANGE
At TanumStrand Spa & Resort there are opportunities to shower and change after the race.
- A shower in the harbor/marina costs SEK 30 per token.
- Stora Blå Family Bath with showers, sauna, pool and jacuzzi costs SEK 120 per person.
AWARDS and BANQUET
Everyone who completes their race receives the Bohusläns Bästa medal. Honorary prizes to the top three in the competition classes (women and men). The award ceremony will take place in the arena at approximately 1:00 p.m. For the total Outnorth Trailtour, the award ceremony will take place at the banquet on TanumStrand at approximately 20:00.
